 My Hobbies are fishing; mountain Biking and Skiing with my 2 daughters.  

I am DBS checked and combined my 30 years law experience with 15+ years teaching and tutoring law to help students with law research topics or to prepare for examinations from GCSE through to A Level to degree level to professional qualifications such as the SQE / LPC and the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.

My qualifications are very much focused upon Law and include a Higher Education Foundation Degree in Education and Training (DTTLS); Post Graduate Diploma in Law (Commendation Pass).  I am an Accredited Mediator in Commercial Litigation– ADR group (London) and in 2015 i was invited by Northumbria University to sit as an Appeal Judge in a mooting competition between University students around the Country. The moot related to an appeal on pure psychiatric harm.  In 2015 I assisted NCG online as part of a team in an application for validation of a Foundation Law Degree course.  

I have been described by many students as approachable, friendly and an excellent law teacher. My main focus is to help restore confidence and support and help students with law studies at all levels particularly in preparation for exams. I have also taught paralegal practice,  CILEx level 2&3, presented webinars for Level 3 and Level 6 Civil Litigation students, presented webinars for Personal and corporate insolvency matters.  

I have lectured CILEx Civil Litigation practice revision days level 6 to assist students to prepare for forthcoming examinations. The students work in law firms and other law institutions around the Country. I have lectured at a national law practice to assist to help fast track students.  

My additional experience covers:- 

• Standardisation of marking grid for City & Guilds 

• Internal verification of marking provided by other lecturers 

• Advising generally a College on civil litigation matters
